Growth Tip of the Week!
Alex Berman says all your SaaS needs to do is two things:
  • help a specific target with one specific task really well
  • help them make more money while doing it
The key here is to focus and keei it simple. That’s all there really is to growing a SaaS.
Simon Hoiberg mentions that ads are a great way to validate your SaaS.
It’s as simple as a landing page -> Ad creative in Figma/Canva -> Running Ad campaigns in FB/Google ($10/day).
While this is great for the initial product roadmap, this method will help you launch new features or scale a new audience/market.
Cold Email
You can utilize a cold email system to catch the leads you can’t make contact with on LinkedIn.
Nils says that for indie SaaS builders, cold email is a great way to find SaaS with product market fit.
Validate before you build. Send 1000 cold emails to your target audience and see if your SaaS resonates with them.
Content Marketing
Content marketing can only bring you limited direct sales. Content marketing helps you as a lead gen system on auto-pilot.
It’s just the start of the funnel. Back your content marketing with -> high-converting landing page -> a great free trial experience -> email marketing. That’s how you scale.
SuperSaaS mentions that very successful B2B SaaS companies do all these steps very well. That’s how you oil the funnel to scale.
A great marketing tip is to spend more time building a community and validating an in-market need, and less time building your product.
Tony Dinh is very active with his startup and product journey in his Twitter community. He leverages this to run his Twitter Analytics & CRM SaaS with a 450+ member community.
When you write a great SaaS website copy, it feels alive. It feels like a personality. It feels like you had fun writing the copy. That’s what good copywriting should feel like to the reader.
Would a great website copy focus on pain or focus on pleasure? George Ten shares a simple exercise that can help you learn a lot from the comments.
Email Marketing
Email marketing helps reduce SaaS churn. The best channel to consistently talk to your prospects and build a strong relationship.

Social Media Marketing
Running a weekly interview with an expert is a great way to do Marketing. A weekly Podcast with an expert in an industry you’re selling to can give you so many eyeballs.
Udit Goenka shares that the easiest way to promote your SaaS weekly is to do a weekly webinar or a weekly LinkedIn audio, or a weekly Twitter space.
Repurpose this into a Podcast, YouTube, and Blog/social media posts, and watch your revenue fly!
